Company Profile
The founder of our company, Mr. Sami Özyıldırım entered the sector of heat as a contractor for the mechanical installation of boiler room control panels and burner of the Sungurlar Kazan - Sebahattin Sunguroğlu company in 1959.
He also contributed in the technical service in spreading and production of the Riello, Bertone, Monarch, Ünitherm Johnson, and Oertli burners that were imported in these years.
He quit being a contractor in 1967 and founded Termo-Heat Isı San. A.Ş., and started the production of pre-pot heaters used in burners in Maltepe-Istanbul.
With the advantage arising from being the first in tube resistor production, the product range was extended and became the leader in the production of electrical household appliances (Electrical storage water heaters, oil radiators, convectors, ovens, grills, and electrical fryers).
In 1980, production of household appliances was laid aside, a specialization on only tube resistor production was adopted and the investments were directed to this area.
Following the technological developments, and thanks to the specialized staff and experience, it has provided service to the appliance sector beginning with the design of the electrical household appliances and contributed in the development of quality awareness of the sector. The company initiated the issuing of the mandatory standard TS 5101 "Electrical Heater with Metal Pipe Sheath" and made financial and moral contributions.
In the same years after the termination of the production of household appliances, İka A.Ş. was founded, the Turkish agency of the companies such as ITT Nova - Belgium, Omas - Italy, and Russell Hobbs - England was taken, and electrical fryers, oil radiators, irons, hair driers, and robots were imported.
